In Peter's sermon at the house of Cornelius, he clearly stated how they witnessed the things which Christ did both in Jerusalem and everywhere he went, though he was still hang in spite of every good work he had done.
There is a mystery in being a witness that I seek to expound to you today. Notice that although Peter preaches with boldness at this point, he had denied Jesus three times on the day he was crucified as he had been told. Similarly, Judas betrayed Jesus regardless of the fact he had walked with him and had seen everything that Jesus did.
But after Jesus resurrected he told them to wait at Jerusalem and receive power from on high when the Holy Ghost comes. Then they would become witnesses of the gospel to the world.
The Holy Ghost becomes the perspective of faith that interprets the things which are of God. As you carry out your ministry, ask yourself "by which spirit am I ministering?" because faith worketh by love and love is a fruit of the Spirit.
You cannot walk in love and not have a good understanding of the works of God.
Prophetic Declarations
Train my eyes Oh Lord to perceive by the Spirit; to interpret things as they ought to be; not to trample on sacred things. AMEN
