Topic: Discerning Greatness

Proverbs 23:1 "WHEN YOU sit down to eat with a ruler, consider who and what are before you;" (KJV)

One of the reasons responsible for many people's stunted growth or future fall is the concept of knowing how to stand before kings. The word for king used is the word (great/influential/ruler). Most people do not know the wisdom that governs greatness.

The verse tells us that when you stand before a great man, consider carefully who and what is before you. Most destinies missed their great opening because someone did not express themselves in wisdom before great men.

It takes a trained mind to know how to learn; how to speak before great people.

Great men hold keys to doors that could potentially open your life. It is therefore important to learn how to draw those keys from the hands of greatness. Most people live in a falsehood of thinking we are all equal. Only men who are not going far assume they are equal to everyone.
