Proverbs 4:7 "Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." (KJV)

Ever wondered why men build things they once broke? For example; When the pentecostal movement was growing, people dismissed order of service because they believed it limited the move of God, but eventually returned to the same things, and many such things modern revivalism dismissed as religion, yet they seem to be returning to those same things. You can simply attribute this to a lack of wisdom.

The scripture declares that wisdom is the principal thing. Which means that wisdom is cardinal among the things a man can desire. So everyone ought to go after this wisdom, if they are to lead a life of godly relevance.

Where wisdom is not applied, there is a waste of time and delay of purpose.

Many people today are ever digging foundations but are never able to build solid lives because they never get to a place where they fully comprehend how to go about life. This is because the things they are breaking now, they will soon find themselves in spaces where they have to build them. The partnerships they are destroying now; they soon find they have to build them again.

Therefore, study the way of wisdom and learn how to build a life that is without transgression. Before you close a door, be sure you will never need to walk through it again. Before you open a door, be sure you will not need to close it. Anyone who discerns the way of wisdom, will walk safely in this life.
