Proverbs 9:9 "Give [instruction] to a wise [man], and he will be yet wiser: teach a just [man], and he will increase in learning." (KJV)

The principle of instructing is such that he who teaches must teach one with a wise heart, godly education is very different from worldly education. Godly education is not for everyone, because wise counsel belongs to those who will use it to become wiser.

The verse shows us that if you instruct a wise man he becomes wiser, when you instruct a righteous man he increases in learning. God knows that those who grow by godly instruction already posses the heart of wisdom.

It is a wise man that can be instructed and only a righteous man can increase in learning.

It is the desire of every grey haired man to impart wisdom to as many people and instruct as many people, however the scripture is very clear wise counsel can not be randomly shared, one ought to seek out the hearts of those he teaches.
