WHY SOME SUCCEED

Topic : The Wisdom of Fervency

1 Kings 20:11 “And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not him that girdeth on his harness boast himself as he that putteth it off.”  (KJV)

One day God revealed to me why certain people can never go past a certain achievement. If they are in a certain level, there is a limit to how far they can go. While a few people seem to have found a wisdom that brings them a constant flow of grace.

The verse speaks of the response the king of Israel sent to Benhadad when he sought him to surrender. Put simply; a man starting shouldn't boast as one finishing. This is a very deep concept. Most people who are starting work and live as though they made it, ignoring the fact that they are only starting.

Zeal should define the beginings of a successful man.

This does not suggest that after you make it you become passive. But its an error to be at the start of your journey and be passive. This principal cuts across, in relationships, work, ministry, and dreams.

Hallelujah. Amen
