As you study the books about the kings of Israel, you quickly discover that the type of life that the nation enjoyed depended on the type of leader that was ruling. Asa came in to rule when none could walk safely in the streets, yet we see later he is one of the kings that generally had peace during their reign.
The verse shows us that for thirty five years of the reign of Asa, there was no war in the land of Judah. Because Asa had determined to have the nation serve God, in so much that he removed his own mother from the title of queen mother because she had set up idol worship in the palace.
The reign of a king reflects the kind of person the king was.
Therefore, the life of everything reflects the wisdom of the man that runs it. If it's a business; if it's empty and lifeless, that is the state of the man that is ruling. When you understand the word of God, your rule begins to seek to infuse God in your plans; that way peace prevails.
Prophetic Declarations
My Loving Father, I thank you for a heart of wisdom and knowledge to know how to rule give my reign uniqueness. AMEN
