WHEN BETRAYAL IS DIVINE - (1)

May 31, 2023

Topic: The Case of Judas Iscariot
Matthew 26:15-16 "And said [unto them], What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. And from that time, he sought the opportunity to betray him." (KJV)

One day, I was pondering on the issue of people who break confidence. I had observed so many people in these days who were willing to give up other people's information that they were told in confidence. I noticed a trend where people just keep falling out with others, and God ministered to me wisdom.

The verse here shows us how the death of Christ started. It began with Judas, who was one of his closest disciples selling him to the priests for only 30 pieces of silver. I understood that day that it's not about the man who breaks confidence; it's about the great destiny of the man who is betrayed. Judas thought he was seeking money whilst the whole time it was in Christ's purpose to die for the world.

Some betrayals were pre-ordained to make you truly walk in your purpose.

God's plan for your life can be found even in the toughest moments. Most people who have dealt with you the harshest were actually your destiny carriers driving you faster to your God-ordained calling. Despair not if you ever find yourself in a place like Jesus was. It could be God assembling you before your destiny.
