Hebrews 4:3 "For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world." (KJV)

It's one thing for a man to believe. It's another thing for that man to also enter into rest. You see, when we believe, we ought also to rest from our struggles; this is the sign of true salvation.

This is what the verse is teaching us; to enter into rest if we believe. Faith brings rest, this explains why those who do not believe hop from fellowship to fellowship or

relationship to relationship because they are still searching for a truth out somewhere because they never believed in the first place.

Rest is a result of right believing.

God gives rest to a man whose faith is in the right place because he has discovered that the works of God have been finished from the foundations of the world.
