Topic : The Instruction of Every Generation

Genesis 26:2-3 "And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;" (KJV)

Every generation has its instruction, every man has his unique calling. Most people think the way God worked with a person before them will be the same way he deals with them, which is so wrong. This explains why most people miss the voice of God in their life or rather miss the message of a generation.

The verse shows that Isaac planned to deal with famine, like his father by going down to Egypt. But God interrupts his plan by instructing him to stay and plant in the land. Child of God learn to hear God for your life before you copy those who came before you.

Every man is UNIQUELY called and instructed for his life and his generation.

This wisdom is very key to mastering issues of life. This is why most people in this generation hardly hear the voice of God. They live their life reacting to situations rather than seeking God about their situations. If you ask people questions: why do you attend that church ? You might be surprised what you discover; some are there because they are running away from hurt in a previous ministry, some are there because it's near their home, some are there because of good lights. Few people can accurately tell you God led me to this place. They replace church with relationships, work, family, friends, and places.

Hear God for your life.
