Psalms 9:10 "And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." (KJV)

Human relationships are as healthy as the trust they hold. Any staggering human relationship becomes so when people no longer trust one another because of either past experience or breach of trust on any part. This concept is based upon how men built. Likewise also, one can hardly walk with God unless he understands the concept of trust.

The verse teaches us that those who know his name trust God. It's one thing to have faith in God, it's another to trust him. Faith comes by being taught the word, trust comes by knowing his name. You can never trust God until you personally know him.

A man who trusts God has come to know him.

This is why the first dimension in relating with God is having faith in him, the second dimension in relating with God is trust in him.
