Topic : The Excellence Of Knowing Christ

1 Corinthians 2:2 “For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” (KJV)

It is one thing to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour; it's another thing to KNOW him or rather to be known of him. There were many people that walked with Jesus and they were jews yet they did not know him and on the other hand, there are many other people that were not jews, never walked with Jesus yet they knew him.

The scripture shows us Paul, one who was not among the twelve disciples. He did not see Jesus in the flesh as one born out of time, yet he knew the master. In so much that he always resolved to know nothing but Christ.

Knowing Jesus is the glory every child of God ought to know, it out weighs all openings.

Desire to know him more than to be religious.
