Hebrews 2:4 "God also bearing [them] witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?"

In the book of Hebrews in the second chapter, the writer introduces us to the fact that this precious Gospel of Jesus cannot be ignored. This is because it was first preached by Christ our Lord and those  that heard him; Saying, what will a man do if he ignores such a great message.

In the verse cited above, he goes further to show us that not only was the message preached; but also God himself confirmed his message with signs and wonders and divers miracles that were distributed as he willed. Have you ever discovered that the signs and the wonders done through the ministers of God was God's witness that he sent them and you ought to listen to them?

It takes a spiritual man to see the signs and the wonders God performs through his ministers.

This is why the beginning of a man to reject Christ comes when he has no record of ever seeing a wonder in the presence of God or never having the ability to understand by faith what God has done. No matter what you do for that individual, he will always never receive the true gospel in their heart because in the first place they did not see God's own witness of his presence upon his servants.

So such individuals continue to attend services not because they know God is present in a place but because they are seeking their own personal gratification. To them, God is an alternative to a life they can walk in and walk out on him at any given time because their hearts are not guided in truth. Therefore, always ask yourself; has God put a witness upon the place you go to worship? upon the minister you listen to? And if that faith is not evident in your soul, then you have not truly believed the message and soon the things of God will be a great stone of stumbling.
