THE TROUBLES OF BUILDING MINISTRY

March 15, 2024

Topic : Maturity Of Building Ministry
2 Corinthians 1:8 “For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:” (KJV)

Whenever you sit down with a seasoned minister who has built a great ministry, you discover that they are masters of warfare, they have come to a place where they learnt how to fight wars, and conquer the strangest battles. If a man can not stand through certain battles, he can never do great things in the gospel.

The verse shows us one of the greatest preachers to ever live, accounting that when he went into Asia he encountered trouble that even caused them to despair for life itself. The greatness of Paul’s ministry is wrought in the battles he faced and conquered.

The greatest achievement in war is not to overcome the war but to overcome  it with your faith unscratched.

All battles are defeatable. However, a few people are able to maintain their state of mind after the battle. This is why most people who start ministry eventually fall, because most of them could not uphold their faith in the process.

Prophetic Declarations.

Hallelujah. Amen
