‍Isaiah 59:19 "So shall they fear the name of theLORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." (KJV)

‍Job was one of those men who truly got battered by the full force of the enemy, and outwardly; it looked like he had lost the fight. But God taught me through his story that no matter how great the enemy descends upon you; he will never defeat a man of covenant.

‍The verse teaches us that only the name of God will be feared. There is no amount of trouble the devil will ever bring you that God's standard can never overcome.
The devil can only rise to be defeated.

‍If you ever find yourself concerned that you have been surrounded by an influx of defeat; lift up your eyes and praise the name of God, and you will see the great salvation by which God will save you.
