Topic: Growing What is Committed to You

Judges 7:2 "And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that [are] with thee [are] too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me." (KJV)

One of the secrets of growing things is that abundance does not come in the volume of business or in the greatness of might. God can write victory even in the smallest of things.

The verse shows us how God gave Gideon victory and how he commanded him to reduce the number of men warriors. Sometimes, if you have mighty tools and great resources, it's a hindrance to God's provision.

God will always isolate you away from your greatest achievements and multiply you.

This is why we always encourage people not to think of themselves in light of what they have but what God can do for them. A man's life does not consist in such things as he has.
