THE SAVOR OF THE SPIRIT

March 15, 2024

Topic : The Life of A Believer

Matthew 5:13 “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” (KJV)

Living a Christian life is not about going to church on Sunday and praying before having a meal. These are good but they are not the proof of a spiritual life. A true believer is observed through their attention to the word of God. There is a certain consciousness they bear toward God and his word.

The verse shows us that one can not say he/she is the salt of the earth but does not have the savor of the spirit. It is important to maintain a certain level of savory in your life. There is nothing as horrible as beholding a believer who is no longer led by the spirit through the word in their life. They make decisions based on earthly need.

You know you have walked with God when it’s him who directs your path.

This is why no matter how mature a believer can claim to be, you can never replace the place of prayer. You can never replace the place of inquiring from the Lord, the place of relying on the leading of the Holy Spirit. The basic things of salvation are the more important things in the life of a believer.

Prophetic Declarations.

Hallelujah. Amen
