The Resurrection

April 20, 2022

Matthew 28:6 "He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." (KJV)

The story of Christ becomes very significant because of the resurrection. When he defeated death, this made him king of all those who call upon the name of God.

The verse shows us that the angel spake to the ladies that he was not in the tomb anymore. The tomb there signifies our sin, and anything that held us captive.

Christ defeated the cross to give us victory over anything that could hold us captive.

Therefore, as he walked out of the grave; we also walk out of bondage. In his likeness, we defeat sin and all it's consequences.
