Luke 6:26 "Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets." (KJV)

There is something God taught me about human nature that enabled me to understand what is important and what's not.  Human nature is such that it can not distinguish right from wrong and good from bad, holy from evil, that's why they need text ( Constitution, the law, bible) and any moral code. This is necessary to constantly draw a line that man seems never to fully construct.

As the verse teaches, it is important to understand that the goal of life is not to appear acceptable to people; but to be God minded.

The praises of men do not directly translate to the praise of God.

Likewise, the disapproval of men doesn't directly translate to the disapproval of God. You will find many things approved of men but rejected by God and many things rejected by men but approved of God. Know how to please the maker without interference of the ideas of men.
