Topic: How To Deal With People Who Turn Back

Genesis 19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt." (KJV)

In life, regardless of how much you communicate a vision, or how much you think someone has understood; always leave a place for pillars of salt. There will always be people who look back to what God has commanded you to walk away from. This comes for any or all reasons.

The verse shows us that even after the angels had sternly warned the house of Lot to flee Sodom and Gomorrah, his wife still thought in her heart to look back. Many people in life are always going to become pillars of salt because they don't necessarily carry the wisdom to understand instruction.

Never feel guilty for someone who turns back after you have done your best to direct them.

Elsewhere, the scriptures say; a heretic after two or three admonitions reject. It is in the wisdom of God to abandon pillars of salt. Lot did not turn back to save his wife because he knew what God had commanded them.

Learn to walk away from people who despise the warnings and correction of God because they seek personal gratification. The spirit of turning back is always seeking to turn men into pillars of salt.
