Philippians 3:10 "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;" (KJV)

I always tell people if you are put in a room and you're given a task with many other people be that guy who is the last to leave, be the person who aces the job. Be that individual who does the best to the end because this is how we have come to know Christ.

The verse shows us the prayer of Paul, praying that he may know the power of Christ's resurrection and the fellowship of his suffering. Child of God, salvation is not only about receiving cars and houses, it is more than living a comfortable life. It's about finding yourself conformable unto the death of Jesus.

Know God so much that you are a participator in his death and you will be a partaker of his best life.

A believer who cannot conform to the death of Jesus Christ often time cannot stand diligent in the things of God for a long time. This is why it is important to participate in the basic things of salvation before you are elevated in the glorious things of God.
