THE ORNAMENT OF GRACE

September 26, 2022

Proverbs 1:8-9 "My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: For they [shall be] an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck." (KJV)

Have you ever wondered, why certain doors seem to open freely for some people? And, why they have access to certain aspects of life that look closed for many? Well the level at which a man listens to instruction places an ornament of grace upon them.

The verse shows us that the instruction of your father and the commandment of your mother become an ornament of grace upon your head. The word ornament means a crown or a decorative material. That means one who listens is crowned with grace.

Doors of opportunity will always open for a man who is instructed.

Some people assume that when they venture out in their ambition that then God will grace them. However, God crowns grace to those whom he has observed to hid instruction.
