1 Chronicles 29:9 "Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy."

One of the most misunderstood ministries  today is the ministry of giving (Partnership). Today, a ministry has to do a million Partnership meetings with thousands of presentations of plans and projections for an individual to feel their money is doing a great job so they can be encouraged to give. This is not so in the Scriptures.

We see David and the people of Israel in his day, offering willingly to a cause they did not live to see, because many of them just like David died before the temple was built. But we see that they gave willingly because of their relationship with God.

A man whose heart knows what God has done for him needs no following to give.

This explains why people continue to drown in debt and make losses in business because they ignore the work God has done in their life. A grateful person will always worship God with his finances. An ungrateful person will always spend his money in things that do not hold value for God. Always ask yourself two things, what do I spend my money on? And do I give to God willingly?
