Ephesians 3:16 "That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;" (KJV)

Every human being was created with a spirit which the Bible calls the heart, or the inner man, or the hidden man of the heart. Most times we feed the flesh at the expense of this man; people go to gym, eat well, dress nicely but they neglect to grow the inner man.

The verse shows that Paul while praying for the Ephesians, he prayed that they be strengthened with might in the inner man. Paul understood that when your inner man is on course your entire body is on course.

A man with a matured spirit (inner man) will always stand through any circumstances.

Learn to take time and beautify your inner man through prayer, through the word of God, through wise counsel. That you may stand in the day of darkness.
