THREE DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING

Luke 9:49-50 "And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. And Jesus said unto him, Forbid [him] not: for he that is not against us is for us." (KJV)

There is an immature spirit that functions in people who surround great men, that causes them to frustrate those who desire to get close to these great men, in the name of protecting their space. There are many people all over the world who have been restrained from joining certain visions because those around these men create unnecessary walls.

The verse shows us that the disciples stopped a man from casting out devils in the name of Jesus because he did not walk with them until Jesus forbade them from stopping him. Today, this spirit continues to hinder men from being part of visions because those in the visions do not think others are serious enough to be part of those same visions.

Just because someone does not fully walk with you does not mean he is not part of you.

This explains why most ministries continue to grow in one demographic. If a ministry has old people, it continues not to reach out to younger ones because the old folk don't find need to have youth as part. The opposite also holds for most ministries. Some ministries continue to have young people because they don't find relevance for old people.

Therefore, today as you pray, pray against this spirit of stagnation that seeks to place a divide among people and set walls to those that ought to benefit from certain graces.
