Ephesians 2:14 "For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us," (AMP)

In this life, there is definitely a moment in which you will have an opportunity to choose to have peace or to crumble under the pressure. Because of the fallen state in which we live; therefore, it becomes very important what you supply to your mind.

The verse shows us that Christ himself is our peace, who made us both the Jew and Gentile; one body. Which means that we were added to the common wealth of Israel, and this was not our idea but God himself.

The peace of God is the cardinal custodian of a godly life.

If you ever want to see a man that is not living godly, look at the man's peace. When a believer is young in the things of God, they cannot grow in the peace. There will always be something that seeks to steal their peace; whether it is their own making or external. But when a man is fully grown, he is independent of the circumstances around him and grounded in his maker.
