The Prophetic ministry, though, has the ability to minister to individuals things necessary for their edification, comfort, and exhortation; it is predominantly a ministry of revealing God's mind for a dispensation.
The verse shows us that when John the Baptist did ministry, because of his effective ministry, some called him Elijah. Others called him the Christ. But he clearly stated that he was not and was only a voice calling out from the desert to make way for the Lord. This is powerful.
Never reduce the ministry of the Holy Spirit to your personal need.
In our day, preachers are not in place just to pray for the sick but to reveal the mind of God concerning the dispensation. That's why when you go to church, do not only view things in the light of your need but view things from the light of the sovereign God. That way, every message that is preached will produce in you a weightier fruit in the presence of God.
Prophetic Declarations.
