THE DISTINCTION

December 6, 2022

Malachi 3:18 "And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not." (NIV)

One thing about God Jehovah is that he is never too early and he is never too late. God may look silent for a while, but make no mistake; he takes into account everything a man does; he never misses all the sacrifices and hard work. In due season, he clearly puts a distinction on those who serve him.

The verse shows us that eventually, they will turn and see a distinction between the righteous and the wicked; those that serve him and those that serve him not. Selah! This means that the righteous are those that serve him, the wicked are those that serve him not; we also see God promising to put a difference between the two. This is the reason we are confident when we serve God.

No man ever served God and became normal.

For many years I have observed men who served God with impatience and I noticed a pattern among them, none ended well; and I also turned and observed those who through dedication committed themselves to serving God and I noticed they ended up flourishing like the cedar of Lebanon. Child of God, when you learn to defeat the spirit of inconsistency; you will enter into a life where God puts a distinction between you and those that do not serve him.
