THE DESIRE FOR THE WORD

March 14, 2025

Topic : When The Word Is More Than Food

Job 23:12 “Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” (KJV)

One of the things that the ministry of the word does is that it affects certain aspects of a man’s desires. It is not possible that one can read the word and retain a certain way of thinking. The word, in its functioning, has the ability to redefine personal desires.

The scripture teaches us that there is a place in the word where it becomes more necessary than daily food. In that place, the writer testifies that he has the ability to obey the commandments of God.

A man’s obedience to God is directly proportional to his dedication to the word.

As far as you are dedicated to the word of God is as far as the Lord moves your reality. Your life spiritually moves according to your growth in the word.

Hallelujah. Amen
