1 Samuel 24:5-6 "And it came to pass afterwards, that David's heart smote him because he had cut off Saul's skirt. And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD'S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he [is] the anointed of the LORD." (KJV)

In the world of destiny, many things determine how well a man can build. The decisions one makes when they are emotionally spent determine the extent of their vision.

The verse shows us that when David had an opportunity to kill Saul who out rightly was pursuing him he could not do it because he was able to see him for who he was and not for what he desired to do to him. Explosive individuals do not get far in life because of immature decisions.

Not every battle is worth fighting, some battles are too costly to even start.

If you are going far, you will learn to hold your peace amidst great trials. Millions of people die because they chose the wrong fight and the wrong individuals to make enemies. When God teaches you how to discern your battles, he has given you the wisdom to frame your life.
