THE DEALINGS OF GOD

August 23, 2022

Luke 19:7 “And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.”

God has his ways that most of the time people are unaware of. Jesus seeing Zacchaeus in the tree told him, "come down today I will be in your house with you." The onlookers, not knowing the ways of God said; he doesn’t know he is visiting a sinner.

Later we see as Jesus approaches the house; the man repents and changes his heart saying, "Lord half of my wealth I give to the poor, those I took by false accusation I restore four fold."

The best way to preach the gospel is to love the sinner. For love is the greatest rebuke.

Every time you hear someone say, "I have to rebuke them for their sins;" most of the time they are not rebuking, they are trying to be judges. True rebuke by God works by love. That’s why the scripture tells us to rebuke in love. The dealings of God with man are such that he loves us.

Prophetic Declarations

We declare and decree that the hearts of men shall be drawn to God by love.; for love to rule in hearts of men. Amen
