Proverbs 13:20 "He that walketh with wise [men] shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed." (KJV)

Many people do not realise the power of the company they keep. Often times people think they will some how miraculously achieve things in life different from those around them, which is a total lie. A man's life is exactly the average of the first five people he spends the most time with. There is an impartation that happens when we associate ourselves to people whether you see it or not.

The scripture shows us that if you walk with the wise, you become wise but a company of fools is destroyed. Child of God, everyday you are becoming like the person you talk to the most. If this person is ungodly, no doubt you are ungodly; if the person carries fear and pride, you are definitely fearful and proud. This is so powerful that majority of society is too blind to understand it.

Correct your companions and your life will go where you need it to go.

Everyday, people make a choice to create circles not realising they are building their future. When you come to make friends or submit yourself to a certain wisdom, ask yourself if you are willing to bear the fruit they have. If the life your friends are living is not your goal, then you are moving with the wrong crowds.

Most people, the problems they are facing begun the day they opened a door to certain associations. Without knowledge, they begun experiencing the limitations these people had. If these were indebted, they begun to walk in debt; if they were mentally unstable, they begun to suffer the same, some how the experiences of those around you will be your experience. Choose your circle rightly.
