Topic : The Test of Faithfulness

Hebrews 3:5-6 "And Moses verily [was] faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end." (KJV)

When we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, we are celebrating a story of faithfulness. Jesus came on a mission and finished well. Regardless of the fact that he was the son of God, he was faithful unto his God and his father.

The verse shows us that Moses was faithful as a servant. This is a big mystery. It's one thing to be faithful as a son; it's another to be faithful as a servant. Many sons never discern when they are given a test to prove their faithfulness.

A true son works for his crown in faithfulness.

You will know a man's true devotion when you put them to a test. Jesus was tempted in every way yet still came through on top. Everyone has his own dealings with God.
