THE ANOINTING (PART 2)

August 18, 2025

Topic : Increasing Anointing

1 John 2:20 “But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.” (KJV)

The anointing is not a one-time event but a continuous flow from God’s Spirit into your life. David said in Psalm 92:10, “I have been anointed with fresh oil.” This shows that the anointing needs refreshing. Yesterday’s anointing may not be sufficient for today’s battles. The Spirit releases fresh grace for fresh seasons.

When you stop pursuing intimacy with God, the oil in your lamp begins to dry, and like the five foolish virgins (Matthew 25:3-4), you will be caught unprepared. The flow of the anointing requires constant connection.

A Christian without the awareness of the anointing may live oppressed, but one who walks in it becomes a breaker of chains in families, cities, and nations.

The anointing is not just for power; it is for transformation. It reshapes your thinking, aligns your desires with God’s will, and gives you discernment beyond natural intellect. A believer under the anointing will always carry wisdom for decisions that shape destiny.

Scriptural Reference

Isaiah 10:27, Ephesians 4:30, 1 Thessalonians 5:19

Prophetic Declarations

Father, I thank You for the anointing You have placed upon my life. May it never run dry. Give me fresh oil for every season, wisdom to walk in its flow, and grace to guard it jealously. Let Your anointing destroy every yoke in my life and make me a vessel of freedom for others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
