Topic : The Function Of The Anointing
1 John 2:27 “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” (KJV)
The anointing is the divine empowerment of the Holy Spirit that equips a believer to fulfill their God-given assignment. It is not just a feeling, a title, or a spiritual “badge”; it is the very enablement of God that makes supernatural work possible through natural vessels.
Understanding its function is critical for any believer who desires to walk in power, authority, and impact.
The anointing of God is the supernatural enabling power that turns ordinary men into extraordinary men. And ordinary work into extraordinary results.
The anointing is both a person (the Holy Spirit) and a power (His supernatural enablement). Without it, ministry becomes mere human effort, leadership becomes exhausting, and spiritual battles end in defeat. With it, ordinary men and women do extraordinary things for the Kingdom.

Prophetic Declarations
Father, I thank You for the anointing You have placed upon my life. Teach me to value it, to walk in it, and to protect it. Let Your anointing empower me for every assignment, break every yoke around me, and bring glory to Your name through my life. Amen.
