SUPPLANTERS

September 7, 2023

Topic: The Wisdom of a Supplanter
Genesis 27:36 "And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?" (KJV)

The wisdom of qualifying for things that by divine order belong to those of position is such that one must know where and how far focus and seriousness can take them. There are two kinds of people: the positional qualified and the grace qualified.

The verse shows us Esau, who discovered later that he had been supplanted by his brother Jacob because he took lightly that which was upon him. Many people treat with contempt the gift God gave them.

There is always a man in wisdom that supplants a lazy spirit.

Not all visions you see flourishing were originally committed to those that run them, but some have supplanted those who, by position, ignored their mandate. Grow in God until you discover that which you were born to do.
