Topic: When Men Miss God

Genesis 28:16 "And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew [it] not."

If you ask many people today, they will tell u they have not had a serious encounter with God. They pray, yes; they attend church, yes; but the place of personal encounters has vanished completely in today's age. Most people have forgotten what it's like to really encounter God.

The verse shows us Jacob, who had a dream when he came to a place called Beersheba.  In his dream, he saw God and a ladder that ascended into the heavens. Yet when he woke up, he realised God was in the place, but he didn't know it.

The level of your spiritual alertness will awaken you to the presence of God.

We are getting back to the days when believers encounter God in their lives. A place where the conversation of a believer is truly spiritual. God is reawakening the souls of those who are serving him.
