Topic : Signs of a True Believer

1 Kings 18:21 "Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you halt and limp between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him! But if Baal, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word." (KJV)

Having preached the gospel for more than 15 years and pastored people for over 8 years; I have come to learn that a man's greatest enemy is the opinions in his heart. There are two kinds of believers: one that perfectly trusts in God and one that has fallen from faith, a lukewarm. A lukewarm Christian is not only dangerous to himself but also to those around him because he has lost his ability to believe both the goodness and power of God. This man is spiritually dead.

The verse shows us Elijah, a man fully devoted to God who called a whole nation to order, he confounded their double mindedness. He spoke about their conflicting opinions. To this day, many people need to face this question. It is either God is the authority of your life or you are a man that is fallen.

Spiritual awakening begins when a man's heart is fully cast upon his God.

There are signs that show a spiritually awake Christian; that man does not doubt the power of God. Honours the presence of God, receives answers when he prays, improves daily in life, helps many to know God, does not regret serving God, stays away from men with perverse lips, to mention but a few.

Child of God, we are right in the middle of the third great awakening. Something is going on in the African soil. Uganda has been lined up for a revival. The question is. Are you going to be a part of this history? Are you believing God or your are fallen?
