Topic: Bringing God's Rain

James 5:18 "And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual]. [I Kings 18:42-45.]". (AMP)

The initial purpose of prayer was to connect to God concerning things spiritual; things that touch the nation. This was the original purpose of prayer.

The verse shows us that when Elijah prayed, the heavens gave rains, and the land produced. Some things concerning our nation will never shift until the children of God begin to pray.

God responds to a prayer that is committed.

The spiritual rain in our nation is waiting for a child of God to decree a word in prayer. God is always willing when man is ready to pray.
