RELYING ON GOD

June 5, 2023

Topic: Taking Advantage of God's Ability
Luke 22:42 "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." (KJV)

There is something we discover about Christ Jesus that makes him extraordinary. That though he was the son of God and the very nature God, yet he lived a life that solely depended on God's ability.

When you read the verse, you see Jesus speaking as though he needed God's ability to do his will. He never claimed to have the ability to obey God by himself.

It takes a total dependence on God's ability to walk in his will.

Most successful Christians will tell you that until they begin to depend on God, they walk unworthy. Child of God, trust God to work through you.
