Topic : The Purifying Work of the Word

John 15:3 "Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you." (KJV)

When God changes a man's life, he does so internally. Hardly will anything physical show that something spiritual has happened. Therefore, it is important that one pays attention to what is happening in their spirit rather than what is happening in their outward man.

The verse shows us that this happens when we receive the word of God. We are cleansed by that word. It's listening to the word of God that purifies a man's life.

If you heard the word of God, you already are cleansed.

A man who is cleansed is separated from his usual routine, is separated from his normal life, and set apart for God.
