Topic : THE SPIRIT OF DILIGENCE

Proverbs 22:29 “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” (KJV)

Before God lifts a man he will raise him in the area of diligence. He will cause that man to walk paths of responsibility where he can label his heart with badges of hard work. In that time, a man may even think God was not present; it’s the place of wilderness. It is in that place that a man learns how to hear the voice of God even when he is quiet.

The verse shows how to stand before kings; It’s diligence that brings men to their place of breakthrough. It is a dangerous thing to serve God with a slack hand, to walk in life with a slack hand.

Through diligence a man separates himself from his peers.

A hand that rules is established through diligence. A hand that builds is established through focus. As we pray today, believe God for a diligent heart and hand. Refuse to count years without showing fruit.
