John 3:6 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” (KJV)

Our life as believers is not the same life as a non-believer. A believer is a spiritual man while a non-believer is a carnal man. There are things a carnal man can never be able to comprehend. When a man is carnal, they move by emotions and feelings. They respond to every impulse of the flesh.

The scripture shows us that what is born of flesh is flesh, and what is born of the spirit is spirit. We who are spiritual approach life from a spiritual perspective, we live and move as per the definitions of the spirit.

Life lived in the spirit is a far superior life than that which is lived carnally.

It’s the ability of transcending the urges of the flesh that builds us a spiritual life. God's voice in your life does not exist in the carnal.
