Topic : HE WHO SERVES

Colossians 3:17 “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” (KJV)

The ground that breeds rebellion and disobedience begins with the reason why we serve God in the first place. Men that serve God in understanding, do so in understanding that it is him that rewards. This defines the expectation and the extent of a man’s ministry.

The verse teaches us that whatever you will ever do in life, do it unto God. If it is to speak, do it unto God; if it is to take care of men, do it unto God. Everything ought to be done as unto the Lord. This will determine that you will never cause men to define your joy.

The reason why you do something, defines the extent of its success in your life.

Therefore, as we pray and fast today, pray that you define the reasons for why you do things.
