The verse teaches us that some things will never pass unless we have prayed. You can delegate many things, but prayer is personal.

Show me a man who is spiritually unstable, and I will show you a man who has not prayed.

When you pray, your spirit is lifted from the lower rank into a greater rank in God. This is how those who have increased have believed.
