POSITIONING YOURSELF FOR A DISPENSATION

June 5, 2023

Topic: How to have a message for a generation
Luke 5:37-38 "And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilt, and the bottles shall perish. But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved." (KJV)

Whether you like it or not, there will always be a change in guard in almost every discipline. In every generation, there is a voice. This does not mean that because one belongs to a new or younger generation, therefore, he has what it takes to be the voice in that generation. There is wisdom that governs how dispensations are handed down.

The verse shows us that no man puts new wine in old wine bottles, or else both are lost. The wisdom of making new bottles begins when one positions himself to have the wisdom of God for his time.

When God is lifting men, he will position them to hear what others do not hear.

Have you noticed that all the men of faith mentioned in the scriptures were found in places where others can not be? David was alone taking care of sheep, Moses was alone protecting his brothers, the Israelites, Gideon was alone threshing in the night. All these men had one thing in common; they were trying to change their estate, and they were different from others.
