Romans 15:20 "Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:" (KJV)

The wisdom of a soul winner is that he seeks men in places where the name of Christ has not been mentioned. The gospel is not a competition but rather an assignment.

The verse shows us that Paul strived not to preach where Christ has been mentioned. Notice how he uses the word, 'Strive' which means he intentionally would not preach in places where Jesus is already preached.

‍A soul winner understands the wisdom of seeking that which is lost.

Therefore, as a minister of Christ, pray concerning a place or a people you attempt to preach;  for some preached in the streets, others in the synagogues whilst others preached from house to house. May God give you wisdom.
