When it comes to a man's mind and the thoughts that proceed from it, one has to understand that as small as the mind might appear, it is a very powerful tool in how one eventually establishes his life.

The verse teaches us that a person's mind should only focus on things that are of value; things that are true because a man's thoughts are crucial to creating the path and establishing him in the ways of God.

The thoughts of a man determine the course of that man's life.

Teach your thoughts to project things consistent to the word of God. Build your life around the truth of the word.
