Opinions are the judgments of men birthed out of limited knowledge, emotional bias, and cultural influence. In the first scroll we saw how they form, but today we go deeper to expose their limits and dangers.
Opinions are not truth; they are shadows of perception. They arise from experiences, traditions, and emotions that are not always aligned with God’s counsel. Israel’s opinion that Egypt was better than the wilderness was born out of fear and forgetfulness of God’s mighty acts (Numbers 14:3-4). The spies’ opinion about Canaan made a whole generation perish in unbelief (Numbers 13:31-33).
God shows us that opinions can become strongholds. They resist revelation and blind men to truth. The disciples themselves dismissed the testimony of resurrection as “idle tales” because opinion blinded their hearts (Luke 24:11). Opinions are dangerous because they create atmospheres of unbelief, breed division, and distort the reality of God’s plan.
Yet opinions, no matter how loud, cannot alter divine counsel. Pilate succumbed to the opinion of the crowd, but God’s eternal plan of salvation stood (Mark 15:15). The Corinthian church fractured under opinions of men (“I am of Paul, I am of Apollos”), but Paul pointed them back to Christ, the foundation beyond all voices (1 Corinthians 1:12).
Beloved, the antidote to opinions is revelation. When Jesus asked, “Who do you say that I am?” Peter moved beyond public perception and received revelation from the Father (Matthew 16:16-17). Truth is superior to opinion, and revelation is greater than speculation. Therefore, as believers, we must renew our minds (Romans 12:2), test all things (1 Thessalonians 5:21), and walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Prophetic Declaration
I silence every opinion that rises against God’s truth in my life. I anchor my destiny in revelation and not in the voices of men. I shall not be moved by emotions, culture, or fear, but I stand established in the eternal Word of God. From this day, I rise above opinions and walk in divine truth. Amen!
