Ephesians 5:19 "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;" (KJV)

There is a way that God has given us to minister to ourselves in the Spirit. The human spirit will often time require renewing and refilling. As we walk in life, we pick up all sorts of information by our ears and eyes, and some may affect the stability of our spirits. Thus, there is a need to refill.

The verse tells us how to keep our spirits burning with the flame of God. Through speaking to ourselves in Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Making melody within our hearts unto the Lord. People underestimate the power of influences of the songs they listen to in their lives.

Singing in your heart sharpens your spiritual mind.

Therefore, take time to surround yourself with people who worship, who pray, and who spend time in the presence of God.
