1 Corinthians 12:27 "Now you [collectively] are Christ's body and [individually] you are members of it, each part severally and distinct [each with his own place and function]." (KJV)

The body of Christ is slowly losing the identity of it's very existence due to the believers who do not seem to discern their particular place in the body.

The verse is very clear that we all are the members of Christ's body, but we all have a specific place and function in the body, so that none can say  I am without deployment.

Your gift is activated when you discover your particular function.

For a body to fully function, there ought not to be a place where the members of the body relax on their function. Everyone in the kingdom has a place and function unique to them by the Holy Spirit. This is what makes a healthy ministry.
